Are there any inside places within each of the parks to just sit, rest and cool off?

Hi, RJ!  You'll find places throughout each of the theme parks that are great to sit down, cool off, and enjoy the quieter side of Walt Disney World!

Two of my favorite places are in EPCOT.  Inside Innoventions, you'll find not only some educational and entertaining attractions, you'll also find some areas to just sit and cool off.  I also love going to The Land in EPCOT, where you'll find benches as well as tables at the Sunshine Seasons food court area.

Check out any of the counter service restaurants at the Magic Kingdom, where I often find a table towards the back after the lunch crowds have gone through.  There is also an area at the Hall of Presidents where you wait to go into the show, but I've gone in there for some privacy to feed a baby when it was necessary, and it is a nice, quiet place to relax.

Take the train over to Rafiki's Planet Watch at Disney's Animal Kingdom, and you'll find not only a peek into the veterinary processes for the theme park, but you'll also find a nice, air conditioned building!  The train ride there and back is pretty nice as well!

At Disney's Hollywood Studios, you'll find a table at the back of the ABC Commissary to be a nice place to take a break.  I've been known to grab a cold drink and read a book for a bit while my husband took the kids to an attraction I was too tired to tackle!

I hope you have a wonderful - and restful! - vacation!
