    Hello, i am inquiring about purchasing one day hopper tickets for a family vacation. The group size is 8 adults and 1 child. I am also a chase disney card holder and military veteran. What kind of cash back or military offers are available? Thank you much.

    Magical Greetings, Ken! From all of us at planDisney, thank you for your service. I am happy to hear you are planning a visit with your whole family. You've come to the most magical place on the Internet with your question, and I am happy to help!

    As a military veteran, there are two choices for tickets you could qualify for, depending on your status. Let's go over each ticket type:

    • Disney Military Salute Tickets: These are 4, 5, or 6-day passes that are available to military veterans who retired from service, who are on active duty, or who are 100% disabled. These tickets are available for purchase through your nearest military installation or Shades of Green Resort. With this ticket type, theme park reservations are needed, and once you link them to My Disney Experience, hold on to the paper tickets. You will need to "activate" them at Guest Relations when you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort with your military ID. 
    • Discounted Magic Your Way Tickets: These theme park tickets are sold through Shades of Green or at your local military installation. These tickets are regular theme park tickets sold at a discounted rate. These tickets are considered "active," which means that once you arrive at the park,  you head to the entrance turnstiles to begin your day. Make sure that your tickets are linked to everyone in your group through the My Disney Experience mobile app and that theme park reservations are made in advance. 

    Whew! Now that we've gone over theme park tickets, let's talk about other rates you may qualify for! Walt Disney World has military rates at select Disney Resort Hotels that are available to veterans who qualify for the Disney Military Ticket Salute. These rooms fill up fast, so make sure to call as soon as possible! Shades of Green is a great backup option, and Veterans who didn't retire from service qualify to stay here in January and September. 

    The current offer for Disney Chase Visa cardholders is exclusive rates for select Disney Resort Hotels for select dates. There are offers for Disney's All-Star Music Resort, Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, and Disney's BoardWalk Inn.
