My in-laws will be joining us on our WDW vacation party way through our stay. I have booked a few choice dining reservations for 6, but if the in-laws decide not to go to that meal, and only 4 show up, will I be assessed the no-show fee for the other 2?

Hi, B. Maxine! No, you will not be charged for the Guests that don't attend unless your entire party is a no-show.  If you have an Advance Dining Reservation for 6 Guests at a restaurant that uses the credit card guarantee policy, and only 4 Guests are able to make it to the meal, you will not be charged a fee for the two who don't dine. As long as part of your travel party honors the reservation, then there will be no charge to your credit card for the one(s) who don't attend. Meals for which you have pre-paid the entire meal cost are a different matter. You will not be refunded for those not attending unless you cancel their reservations in a timely manner (according to the cancellation policy for the meal).  Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
