Hi Michelle!
How lucky you are that your in-laws are helping plan your magical vacation to Walt Disney World (WDW)! Your family is lucky to have multiple generations visiting the most magical place on earth together! This will be a great experience to build memories together.
All of the Walt Disney World resorts are absolutely wonderful for families! You really can't go wrong with a family-friends resort if you stay on-site.
A few of my favorites include:
The
Art of Animation Resort - Their family suites are excellent for growing families. There is a separate master bedroom, living room, a kitchenette with a dining room table and two bathrooms, which offer privacy and a space for family time. The pool is the largest throughout all the WDW resorts and you can actually hear music under the water. The food court offers options for everyone, including young picky palates. They also have an amazing arcade and gift shop.
Polynesian - The Polynesian is on the monorail line for both Epcot and Magic Kingdom, which saves precious time commuting to the parks. You can also dine at the wonderful restaurant, '
Ohana, which is located in the resort. The pool is wonderful and watching Wishes on the beach is the BEST spot throughout all the WDW parks and resort.
All Star Movies - My kids love Toy Story, so the All Star Movies resort has always been one of their favorites. We always get a Preferred Room in the Toy Story section so we can be close to the Toy Story characters and have the Toy Story decorations in our room.
Magically,
Stacy
