Hi Cathy – I appreciate you bringing your question to the planDisney Panel!
As a lover of all things autumn and colorful leaves, September is my favorite month of the year! And in addition to pumpkin spice everything, it is also a great time to visit the
Disneyland Resort.
I have a few tips for picking a day in September that meets your needs:
- If you are looking for Halloween decorations, wait until after September 2, the first day of
Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort.
- If you are hoping to spend the night at
Disney California Adventure Park to enjoy the attractions or see
World of Color, avoid nights when the
Oogie Boogie Bash - A Disney Halloween Party will take place, as Disney California Adventure Park will close early on those evenings.
- For lower crowds, I recommend avoiding Labor Day Weekend, which usually has large crowds.
For detailed planning, Disneyland Resort usually makes the
daily park hours and entertainment schedule available at least a month in advance, so check back, especially if planning for fireworks.
Lastly, I think a character breakfast is a fantastic idea for your upcoming trip. You can book reservations for the
Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures online up to 60 days in advance. I recommend securing your reservations as soon as possible because reservations book quickly.
Have a magical experience, and if there is something else the panel can help you with, please come back again.
Happy planning,
Lola
