Where can I get information, pricing, times etc, on the surf lessons at Typhoon Bay?

Hi Shelia! I'm so excited to read your question because my daughter and I did the Surf Lessons at Typhoon Lagoon last week. We LOVED it! It was absolutely amazing! Neither my 11 year old daughter nor I had surfed before, and it is something we both thoroughly enjoyed. Lessons take place before the park opens, so you need to be there, ready to go at 6:45 am. The cost was $150 per person (subject to change). Buses don't run at that hour, so if you don't have a rental car, you might need to take a taxi from your resort.

There are two instructors, and the maximum group size is 12 people, so you'll have lots one on one instruction and plenty of time to surf. You totally go at your own pace, and choose between a one or four foot wave. We spent a whole two and a half hours learning to surf, starting on the beach then quickly moving to the water. My fellow Disney Mom Kay's kids did it too and loved it as much as we did! I can't say enough good things about the surfing lessons, and highly recommend it!

    Kowabunga Shelia!
