Would like information about drop off/pick up for my personal car to pick up my son from Epcot.

Welcome to planDisney, Suzanne! Thanks so much for swinging by to ask us a question today. Dropping someone off and picking them up from a Theme Park is very easy, and I'm happy to walk you through how to do it so you're prepared for your son's magical day at EPCOT next week.

If you're driving into EPCOT, you'll need to stop at the parking toll plaza, even if you aren't planning to park and stay for the day. You just need to let the Cast Member at the booth know that you're dropping someone off and they'll direct you to follow the signs to the drop-off and pick-up area. This is the same place where Guests get dropped off if they're using a rideshare service, so keep to the right and follow those signs around to the safe unloading area. When it's time to pick him up in the evening, you can just repeat the process and pick him up at the exact same place you dropped him off in the morning. It's really easy! Make sure your son takes note of where the loading area is, but if he forgets or needs directions, there are plenty of signs and a friendly Cast Member will be happy to direct him as well if he needs help.

    Have a magical day, Suzanne!
