I would like some information on cruise photo options and pricing. Are there cruise photo packages similar to the PhotoPass at Disney World?

Welcome aboard, Ashton! When you set sail with Disney Cruise Line for the very first time, you'll be experiencing so many magical memories that you will want to record those for sure!

Each day, there are photographers around the ship at the various Character Greetings, as well as at dinners occasionally and at Castaway Cay. If you think you will be taking advantage of many of these photo opportunities, then it's a great idea to pre-purchase a photo package before you set sail. While the cruise packages are different than what you may remember of PhotoPass and Memory Maker at the Walt Disney World Resort, the My Cruise Photos website offers some great options. You can pre-purchase before you set sail to save a bit of money over the cost onboard. One big difference between the photography in the parks and on the cruises is that you must purchase your cruise photos before you leave the ship, as they are not available once you disembark. So, pre-purchasing a package allows you to check off that step and simply arrive and say cheese. The last day of the cruise, pick up your prints or digital package at Shutters, the photography shop, before you leave and have those memories to immediately show friends and family once you arrive home. Should you decide on just one or two individual prints while onboard (like I do every time!), those are available to purchase throughout the cruise too! It's such fun to browse the photos each day.

Have fun planning your cruise, Ashton!
