Welcome aboard, Jeanne! Hooray for setting sail this fall with Disney Cruise Line! My family and I are counting down the days until we head out to sea with Captain Mickey and his crew this fall too. I just can't wait!
When your online check-in window opens, you'll want to be ready to book any of the exciting extras that are available on your sailing. Be sure to check out the
Port Adventures. During online check-in, you'll also have the opportunity to pre-book specialty
Character Greetings like the Frozen Meet and Greet and the Princess Gathering, which are both free, but require advanced tickets. Those are popular and the tickets go quickly, so log on as soon as you're able to book those.
Once you've got those activities booked, you can take your time completing your check-in. You'll just need your flight information and passports (if sailing with them). You'll also need to have a credit card handy so you can use it for your onboard account. Then, once onboard, no cash or cards are needed! Each cruise guest receives a Key To The World Card which can be used to charge any purchases to their stateroom account. Don't worry, though. As parents, you can choose if your child can have charging privileges. We don't let our kids charge to the stateroom yet. I'm afraid they'd be treating all their new friends to smoothies on us! We give them Disney Gift Cards which they can spend in the
gift shops onboard, so they have some control, but so do we!
I hope those details help as you get ready to begin online check-in for your big vacation with Disney Cruise Line, Jeanne. Please stop back if we can answer any other questions before you set sail!
