Hiya Robin! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with this great question!
I'm so excited to hear that you're planning to visit the
Walt Disney World Resort in the coming year! Even better yet, staying in a
Disney Resorts hotel is a great idea. There are plenty of perks that come along with doing so, including complimentary transportation to and from the parks each day. You'll never have to worry about how to get to your destination!
When booking your resort reservation, you will be required to include all Guests that will be staying in your room. This includes any infants that will be traveling with you. However, you will be allowed up to one infant per room which will not count against the maximum number of Guests allowed. For example, if your resort room sleeps up to four Guests and you are traveling with two adults, two children above the age of three, and one infant, you will be allowed to book this room for your stay. Just make sure to include them on your reservation and the system will allow you to go ahead with your booking.
This is especially helpful for families of five that have one child under the age of three. Instead of having to book a larger room or change to a resort that allows more Guests per room, you'll have the option to stay at almost any resort of your choosing. Most rooms will even allow some space to bring a pack-and-play for your youngest to sleep in each night.
If you are looking for more space, the Family Suites at
Disney's Art of Animation Resort are perfect for families that want a little extra room. These rooms come equipped with two bathrooms, a living room, and a kitchenette.
Robin, I hope you have a magical visit!
