    What are some inexpensive ideas to make our anniversary special while on our family trip? The Disney gift is kind of expensive but I still want to do SOMETHING while we're there. We'll be married 12 years the Sunday we are at the park.

    Anika,

    This may not be exactly what you are looking for, but maybe it gets you started down a few different idea paths. I did this for my wife on our first family trip, and I think it was a hit;

    As your vacation progresses, no doubt you will have the Photopass photographers take your picture here and there. If you get a chance during your vacation to sneak away, go to one of the Photopass booths around Walt Disney World. There is one in each park, as well as in many of the Deluxe resorts. Look through your pictures there and find one that is a great keepsake. Get them to print it out (at a cost, of course - around $14 to $17, based on size), and then head over to one of the many Disney gift stores and find a suitable Disney-themed frames (around $20 to $25, again based on size). This can all be far more affordable, certainly with a price tag under $50.

    This gives you a present that is personal, commemorates your trip, and celebrates your anniversary all in one!

    Write me back if you want some other ideas.

    Have a magical vacation!
