Hi there, Cristen! Welcome to planDisney, and thank you for submitting your question to us!
As a mama of a young toddler, I understand the importance of needing a playspace area for your littles to get their wiggles out! Several Disney Resort hotels have outdoor play areas for littles, such as Disney's Art of Animation Resort, Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, and Disney's Pop Century Resort that resort guests of that hotel can enjoy. At Walt Disney World Resort, there are several options throughout the theme parks, so "let's dig a little deeper!":
- Disney's Magic Kingdom Park: Dumbo The Flying Elephant has a playspace that is indoors that you can utilize while you are waiting in line! You'll have a set time to play in the area before you "take flight!". Right outside Dumbo is the Casey Jr. Splash 'N' Soak Station that is perfect for cooling off in the middle of the day.
- EPCOT: Once you disembark your Clamshell at The Seas with Nemo & Friends, enjoy walking around SeaBase! At SeaBase, you can also stop by Turtle Talk Theater and enjoy the Turtle Talk with Crush show! SeaBase also features different aquarium exhibits (my favorite is the Manatee Rehabilitation area!)
- Disney's Hollywood Studios: Enjoy the air conditioning (and space to wiggle at dance!) at the Disney Junior Play and Dance! Show! Say hello to some favorite Disney characters while shaking your wiggles out!
- Disney's Animal Kingdom Park: The Boneyard has several digging areas that little explorers can enjoy.
What I also love about the theme parks are the
Baby Care Centers. Each park has a Baby Care Center that is perfect for diaper changes, feeds, and just to get away from the crowds and relax for a bit. If you need essentials, such as diapers and wipes, you can also purchase them here!
I hope all of this information was helpful, Cristen! Thank you again for visiting planDisney. Visit us again if you need additional pixie dust planning for your vacation. You've got a friend in me!
Magic Awaits!
