Hi there, Linda! Welcome to planDisney.
Oh, do I have some delicious recommendations for you! Walt Disney World is a melting pot of cultures, and when it comes to Indian flavors, you’ve got some great options to explore.
First is
eet by Maneet Chauhan at Disney Springs. This quick-service spot from celebrity chef Maneet Chauhan has a modern twist on Indian cuisine. If you love comfort food, try the Tandoori Chicken Poutine, which is crispy fries topped with creamy sauce and tender tandoori chicken. If you're feeling a little bit adventurous, then the Walking Taco and Chicken Tikka Naan Pizza are unique while also feeling like familiar foods. And if you’re vegetarian, don’t sleep on the Samosas or Bread Service (the pimento paneer cheese is chef’s kiss). Bonus: They even have a Naan Pizza for any picky eaters in your group.
For a more sit-down and soak it all in kind of meal, I recommend
Sanaa at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge – Kidani Village. This place is famous for its Indian-style Bread Service, which comes with a variety of naan and flavorful accompaniments. It’s a fan favorite for a reason! For your main course, you can’t go wrong with the Butter Chicken (my personal go-to) or the Pork Vindaloo. And if you time it right, you can watch giraffes and zebras roam the savanna while you eat. This is the ultimate dinner with a view!
Inside Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, you’ll find two globally inspired restaurants with some Indian flair.
Tusker House is a lively character dining spot with a buffet menu, featuring dishes like Durban Chicken, Egg Curry, and Green Curry Shrimp. Over at
Tiffins, a signature dining experience, you might find Butter Chicken or other Indian-inspired dishes on the menu, depending on the season. The flavors here are bold, and the atmosphere is as warm as the food.
Hope that gives you some food for thought, Linda! Let me know if you need any more recommendations. I’m always happy to talk Disney and food.
Namaste and happy eating!
