Hey there, hi there, Larry! You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney. I'm so excited to chat Disney with a fellow out-of-state Annual Passholder!
I couldn't be happier to see that the magic is calling, and you and your friends are answering the call by planning a magical adventure at The Most Magical Place on Earth. The only thing more fun than a
Walt Disney World Resort vacation is a Walt Disney World Resort vacation with friends. Now, let's make sure you can join in on the adventure!
While Theme Park Reservations will no longer be required for your friends with date-based theme park tickets during your visit, as a
Walt Disney World Annual Passholder, you will still need to make
Theme Park Reservations to enter the theme parks, even as a Guest of one of the
Disney Resorts Collection hotels. Some "Good-to-go days," when Passholders won't need reservations, will begin rolling out in January, and you will find which days are "Good-to-go" on the
Annual Passholder Admission Calendar. Also, Annual Passholders can visit the theme parks without a reservation after 2:00 p.m., except for Magic Kingdom Park on Saturdays or Sundays. But to make sure you can join your friends in the park of your choice before 2:00 p.m., I recommend deciding on your park days and making your Theme Park Reservations as soon as you can.
Larry, did you know that beginning January 9, 2024, you (and your friends with Park Hopper tickets) can park hop to another park at any time during operating hours?! No more waiting until 2:00 p.m.! Now, you can hop over to the
EPCOT International Festival of the Arts any time you'd like! As an Annual Passholder, just be sure to tap into the park where you have your reservation first. Happy hopping!
I hope this helps, Larry! I know that with so many changes on the horizon, sometimes, planning can feel almost as confusing as it is magical. But that's what we at planDisney are here for, and I hope you'll stop by again with any questions you have.
Have a magical time,
Mandy
