Does Incredicoaster close during the World of Color show?

    Hello again, Shilene!

As always, it's a pleasure to hear from you and thanks for bringing another question to us! Your post-Thanksgiving Holiday visit is only a few weeks away and it'll be here before you know it. It's been an honor to have been involved in your planning process.

It sounds like you're trying to maximize your time at Disney California Adventure Park, which I can totally appreciate. When you travel as far as you have, you want to make sure to experience as much as possible. The official word from Disney at this time is that Incredicoaster (among a handful of other attractions) does close for World of Color showtimes. However, it states that attraction availability is subject to change, so I would recommend checking with a Cast Member at the Incredicoaster prior to World of Color to see what the plans are for that evening. I have seen it running during the show on occasion.

A couple of other ways to easily access this attraction would be to consider the Single Rider Line which is often a fraction of the standby queue wait time or to purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass so you'd have access to its Lightning Lane. However you choose to experience it, this is a thrilling roller coaster and a wonderful homage to The Incredibles!

Shilene, thanks again for stopping by and best of luck with planning as your trip draws closer! I wish you the most magical and festive time at The Happiest Place on Earth! Don't be a stranger and we look forward to hearing from you again!

Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!

Meet the Panelist: Al, California

Ahoy there from the heart of Steinbeck Country in central California! I've been visiting the Disneyland Resort since childhood and fell in love with the sense of absolute immersion that the Imagineers have achieved. My favorite attraction is Pirates of the Caribbean because where else can you go from a California day to an evening boat ride in the bayou with "salty old pirates"? I'm a veterinarian and an all-around Disney geek and enthusiast. I'd love to help you plan your next Disneyland trip! Learn More About Al
