Welcome back to planDisney, Heidi!
Thanks for cruising by with another great question. I’m so excited to hear you’ll be sailing on the Disney Dream this August...what a magical vacation to look forward to!
As it happens, I’m setting sail myself next week and have been looking into Nassau options, too! You’ll be happy to know that there are a few all-inclusive resorts in Nassau that offer day passes, either independently or as part of a
Port Adventure through Disney Cruise Line. These passes typically include access to pools, beaches, dining, and sometimes even drinks, which is perfect for a relaxing escape during your time in port.
A guest favorite is Atlantis Paradise Island Resort, and it’s easy to see why! This expansive resort offers something for everyone, from
Aquaventure, the 141-acre water park full of thrilling slides, lazy rivers, and a water-play fort, to
gorgeous beaches,
private pool cabanas, and
even swim-with-dolphin encounters.
Some Port Adventures even include access to Atlantis’ restaurants, casino, and The Dig (a spectacular underground aquarium) without needing to purchase a full resort day pass. So it’s worth browsing the available excursions to see what fits your family’s interests and energy level that day!
To book, just head to your
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app and find the day-by-day itinerary for your sailing. On your Nassau day, click “Add Activities”, then choose Port Adventures to explore your options.
I hope you have the most magical day in Nassau, Heidi. Please feel free to sail back with any other questions.
"Sea" ya real soon,
Eean
