How can I include a double stroller at my hotel ?

    Welcome to planDisney, Nancy!

As a mom of two little ones, I know that a double stroller is essential to any successful trip to Walt Disney World Resort.

If you are looking to rent a stroller for your stay, you will have two primary options.

Your first option is to rent a stroller once you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort. These strollers can not be booked in advance and can only be rented once you arrive at your theme park of the day. Additionally, these strollers can not leave the park. Because walking to the busses or car after a long day at the parks can be a lot for tiny little legs, I do not recommend this option unless your kids are a bit older.

What I recommend you do is to check out some third-party companies. These companies will deliver your rental stroller directly to your resort! ScooterBug is the Disney Featured Provider, and the only company allowed to drop off your rental stroller with Bell Services. All other rental companies require that you be present to pick up your rental.

Where to store your stroller will depend on exactly which Walt Disney World Resort hotel you are staying at. Trust me, you may have to get a little creative, but I have stayed at more resorts than I can count, and I have always been able to make ours fit.

My go-to spot for stroller storage is behind the door to our room. I find that this works best in the Value and Moderate resorts. When we are staying at a Deluxe or Deluxe Villa resort, I like to push my stroller all the way through the room and store it near the balcony.

If you need a little more room, you can always collapse your stroller. Many resorts will allow you to easily slide it under the bed.

Because of storage issues, I actually prefer to bring a double umbrella stroller. Whichever stroller you decide to bring, just make sure that it is no larger than 31 inches wide by 52 inches long

I hope that this helped, Nancy!

    Have a magical trip!
