    Can I use inclement weather voucher for Blizzard Beach at Typhoon Lagoon since BB is closed?

    There's not a much better way to spend a steamy summer day than at one of Walt Disney World Resort's two incredible Water Parks! I remember way back in 1995 when Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park opened.  I had been watching commercials for the newest Resort Water Park and just HAD to get my 9-year-old self onto the Thin Ice Training Course at the Ski Patrol Training Camp! I knew Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park was a blast from previous trips and I was ready to experience something new!  Now we never miss adding the Park Hopper Plus Option to our family's Theme Park Tickets.  My girls live for the Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool, my husband loves Mayday Falls and my little guy (who unfortunately hasn't experienced it yet!) will definitely enjoy splashing in Ketchakiddee Creek on our next visit.

    Edward, you'll be happy to know that after speaking with a Cast Member at the Resort I found out that your inclement weather voucher for Blizzard Beach CAN be used at Typhoon Lagoon while Blizzard Beach is currently closed! The Cast Member said that in order to make the switch you'll need to stop by any Guest Relations outside any of the four Theme Parks or at Disney Springs, where the Cast Members there can make the switch for you.  

    While we all hope to see Blizzard Beach back open again soon (I'm ready to use my competitive skills on the Toboggan Racers) Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park is sure to cool you off and keep you happy on your Water Park day at Walt Disney World Resort.  Make sure to stop by Happy Landings Ice Cream and have a "Sand Pail" ice cream treat for me while you're there!
