Hi Xian, and welcome back to planDisney!
It’s wonderful to hear that you’ve already got your sights set on a Disneyland Resort trip next year. 2026 will be here before you know it, and I’m happy to help you get everything ready for your next magical adventure.
When you’re ready to book your vacation to the Happiest Place on Earth, you have two great options: you can reserve your visit through the
official Disneyland website, or you can call the
Vacation Packages line, where a helpful Cast Member will walk you through each step of the booking process. Along the way, there are plenty of free resources to support you. The
Disney Parks Blog is your go-to for the latest updates, from new entertainment and attractions to foodie favorites and seasonal celebrations. And of course, we here at
planDisney are always delighted to help answer your questions and share personalized tips and recommendations to make your visit as magical as possible.
In the meantime, I have a few helpful dates you might want to circle on your calendar. Typically,
vacation packages and rates for the following year become available around August. So for 2026 bookings, I suggest keeping a close eye on the Disney Parks Blog this summer for the official announcement.
Next,
Disneyland Resort theme park tickets are usually available for purchase up to 180 days in advance. With that in mind, you’ll likely be able to purchase your 2026 tickets around November 12, 2025.
Dining reservations can be made up to 60 days prior to your visit, so for a May 2026 trip, you’ll want to be ready to book by March 12. Here are a few of my favorite dining spots to consider:
Lamplight Lounge at Disney California Adventure offers fantastic food, a picturesque view of Pixar Pier, and tons of hidden Pixar details for fans to discover.
Wine Country Trattoria is another favorite, especially if you're hoping to catch a parade while enjoying a relaxed meal on the patio.
At Disneyland Park,
Carnation Café is perfect for a nostalgic Main Street dining experience (with a side of cavalcade viewing).
Café Orleans delivers that signature New Orleans Square charm, complete with Cajun-Creole flavors and shaded patio seating ideal for unwinding between attractions.
Xian, I hope this information helps as you prepare for your exciting return to the Disneyland Resort. If any more questions pop up, or if you’re looking for even more personalized tips, we’re always here at planDisney and ready to help.
Wishing you a magical journey as you plan your next Disney adventure!
