I'm wondering at what TIME of day I'm able to begin to make dining reservations 60 days out for our planned Disneyland trip? I've seen 6 a.m. but I also read 3 a.m.? I don't want to miss out on booking our anniversary day dinner. Thanks.

Hi Robin! Thank you for bringing your question to planDisney.

I completely understand your desire to book your dining reservations as soon as they open. We love to dine in the parks and at our favorite Disneyland Resort Hotel dining locations, and some of those are popular enough that they book up immediately. Unfortunately, I don't have a firm answer about when dining reservations open. While many dining locations open their reservations up 60 days out around 6 AM Pacific Time, you might also see some popping up as early as 3 AM Pacific Time. Some dining locations don't always reliably open up availability at 60 days out either. I'm sorry if that's frustrating. These are the times we could use Madame Leota's crystal ball!

If snagging the reservation of your dreams is at the top of your must-do list for this trip, I suggest you check at the earliest possible time and then keep checking until you see availability pop up. Availability is not guaranteed of course! But even if a dining location shows no availability for your party size on the date you prefer, keep in mind that people's plans change. I've had good luck getting most of the reservations I've wanted as my park date approached and people canceled their reservations, which resulted in new availability. Don't lose hope. A little Pixie Dust and some persistence will hopefully pay off.

Since you'll be celebrating an anniversary, stop by City Hall on Main Street, U.S.A. in Disneyland Park or Guest Services on Buena Vista Street in Disney California Adventure Park for a Complimentary Celebration Button. That way everyone will know you're marking a special occasion! These personalized buttons also make for a fun little souvenir.

My husband and I have celebrated our wedding anniversary in the parks more than once too, and we've always come away with the best memories. That anniversary dinner is super important to us too. Some of our favorites are Napa Rose at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, Carthay Circle Restaurant on Buena Vista Street in Disney California Adventure Park, and Blue Bayou Restaurant in New Orleans Square at Disneyland Park. They all offer an elevated dining experience, which seems perfectly suited for an anniversary if that's your style and taste. I hope you secure your perfect reservation too!

Have a magical time and here's to many more beautiful years together.
