I'm wondering if there will be a Rider Switch option with the Rise of the Resistance boarding pass? I have a son with Autism who won't want to ride, but the rest of us will! Thanks!

    Bright Suns, Laura!

I'm so glad you stopped by the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge has quickly become one of my favorite places in all the galaxy! When I experienced Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, I was left in tears because of how truly incredible it is. I don't want to say more because I want you to be just as surprised in wonderment as I was, but know that I am so very excited for you and your family to experience it for yourselves!

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance does participate in the Rider Switch Service, and it works just a bit differently because of the boarding groups. Upon your arrival at Disney's Hollywood Studios, you will need a join a boarding group using your My Disney Experience app. During the time you're eligible to ride, go with your entire party to the Cast Member greeting Guests at the queue and let them know you'd like to participate in the Rider Switch Service. The first party will go in to ride, and then the second party of up to three people utilizing the Rider Switch Service will be eligible to ride after them.

May the Force be with you and your family, Laura!
