Hi, Bethany! Welcome (back) to planDisney.
Early Theme Park Entry at
Magic Kingdom Park is a big win, especially if
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is high on your must-do list. This attraction is one of the most popular in the park, and the line builds quickly once the park opens to everyone. Getting in early not only means a shorter wait, but it's also a great way to soak in the whimsical details of the queue (which is one of the most interactive and charming in all of Fantasyland). Starting your day here can set the tone for a magical morning.
You'll be pleased to know that
Rider Switch is available during Early Entry, including for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. I've used Rider Switch during Early Theme Park Entry many times to enjoy this attraction whilst my little ones were still too small to ride. Just head to the attraction entrance with your whole party and let a Cast Member know you'd like to use Rider Switch. They’ll get you set up, and then one adult can wait with the little one while the other rides. When it’s your turn, you’ll use the Lightning Lane entrance for a much shorter wait.
Pro tip: If you’re visiting with kids, try to be at the park gates well before Early Entry officially begins—think 30-45 minutes early. That way, you’ll be among the first in line when the ropes drop. Knock out Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, then take advantage of the quieter Fantasyland paths to hop on attractions like
Peter Pan’s Flight or
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh before the crowds roll in. It makes those early wake-ups totally worth it!
I hope that's helpful, Bethany. See ya real soon!
Mike
