I’m wondering if restaurants close early on the special event days. Specifically, I intend on purchasing a ticket to Jollywood Nights, and I’m hoping to make a dinner reso at 7pm if I can. I will also have a regular ticket for HS that day if it helps.

Welcome to planDisney, Eaden, and thanks for this festive question about Disney's Jollywood Nights. This brand-new after-hours event will surely be a blast, so you're wise to make your plans early. Let's look at what we know about the event and any dining opportunities you'll have.

Since this is the first time Disney's Hollywood Studios has offered this particular event, we don't have complete details yet. I spoke to a dapper Cast Member who said the party would officially begin at 8:30 PM, so restaurants should offer reservation times up until then.

You can enter the Theme Park anytime since you'll have a park ticket, while guests without a regular park ticket won't be allowed entrance until around 7:00. My best advice is to look at dining reservation availability as soon as the window opens for this event, so look online around mid-September. This will give you an idea of what restaurants might be open during your visit. And when your booking window opens 60 days out, be ready to reserve the restaurant of your holiday dreams.

Eaden, have you heard guests are encouraged to wear their most glamorous holiday attire for this event? Even if that's not your style, doing some people-watching will still be fun! I know you'll have a wonderful time.

Please stop by planDisney anytime, Eaden! We love helping guests plan magical visits.

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
