I'm wondering which restaurants are best for healthy choice breakfasts? We like to eat muesli, yoghurt, cereals, fruit etc for breakfast. Staying in SSR Villa so hoping to purchase some items but also want to eat out some days. Thnx moms/dad - U R great!

Hi, Lisa!  You'll be pleased to know that just about any place you go on Walt Disney World property, you'll be able to find some delicious and healthy breakfast options.  The first place that comes to mind when I read your family's breakfast preferences is The Wave restaurant at the Contemporary.  I have not yet eaten there for breakfast, but they offer make your own muesli; multigrain pancakes and waffles; and a house-made granola with seasonal fruits and yogurt.  The lunch that I enjoyed there on a recent trip was outstanding, and I imagine breakfast would be just as delicious!

Any of the character buffets will have fresh fruit, yogurt, and other healthy options on the buffet stations.  One of my family's favorite is the Cape May Character Buffet at the Beach Club resort.  You'll find plenty of fresh fruit and yogurt on the buffet, as well as hot and cold cereal options.  We have also enjoyed asparagus, tomatoes, smoked salmon, and other light options on the buffet here.

The only breakfast I think I might avoid is Cinderella's Royal Table, which is a pre-plated breakfast, featuring very traditional breakfast fare.  They will, however, take dietary needs into consideration and work with you on alternative choices if you decide this is a must do breakfast for your family.

    Enjoy your trip!
