Hello! I'm wondering if it is possible to book a restaurant reservation but then just order drinks. For example, we are interested in the beverages at the Coral Reef Restaurant in EPCOT but would rather eat at another location.

Hi there, Rachel! Greetings from all of us here at planDisney! Thank you so much for taking the time to reach out and allowing us to help you plan your visit to Walt Disney World Resort!

There are so many different dining locations at Walt Disney World Resort to try out! With this amazing amount of variety, there truly is something for every single Guest including those with special dietary needs. My own trips to Walt Disney World Resort are often based on around which dining locations we’ve come to love as well as those we are dying to try!

One of the “must-do” dining locations at Walt Disney World Resort is Coral Reef Restaurant at Epcot! This incredible table service dining location allows Guests the opportunity to take in spectacular views of the coral reef found in The Seas with Nemo & Friends of Future World. The massive tank is visible from all areas of the restaurant and is home to more than 2,000 different underwater species!

It is perfectly fine to make a dining reservation and only order drinks during your “meal”! There is no specific expectation when it comes to ordering at any dining location at Walt Disney World Resort so the sky is the limit as far as how you would like to plan your meals. At certain dining locations, my family and I will only order a dessert or appetizer due to our preferences at that given time. So, feel free to try whichever drinks you like at Coral Reef Restaurant and then eat dinner at a different location afterwards!

I hope you have a wonderful time visiting Walt Disney World Resort and enjoy your dining reservations! Be sure to stop back by and ask any additional questions you may have in the future!
