The answer to your first question is yes! You are able to park a 12- to 15-passenger van at the
Mickey & Friends or Pixar Pals parking structures. The maximum vehicle height for these structures is 13 feet, 10 inches, so as long as the van is able to meet that requirement, you should be good to go! Another benefit of these structures is that they are covered, which can be especially helpful during inclement weather. The parking structures are located on the northwest corner of the Disneyland Resort property.
If your van will not meet the height requirement or you would like an alternative location, the
Toy Story Parking Lot is also available. This area is well illuminated and, best of all, provides
shuttle buses to and from the parking area. This is also the location where all 'Oversized Vehicles' are asked to park, which includes full-size buses, vehicles with trailers, RVs, and campers, so you'll certainly be in good company with other larger vehicles!
If your vehicle meets the height requirement, I'd consider which option will be most convenient for your group. The parking structures put you closer to the Disneyland Resort entrance and offer covered parking, while Toy Story offers the convenience of bus transportation directly between the parking area and the Esplanade. Either option can work well, so you can choose based on what matters most to your group.
The Disneyland website has the current rates for parking, so be sure to check there before arriving. And don’t forget that all parking areas typically open approximately one hour before park opening and close one hour after the parks close for the evening.
