I'm just wondering how the new skyliner works? Do you have to stay at a Disney Resort to use this transportation or could you take it from Epcot to Hollywood Studios to Park Hop?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Melanie! I’m so happy that you’ve stopped by to see us with your question!

The Disney Skyliner is an awesome addition to the Walt Disney World Transportation system. Anyone can use it, so you can absolutely use it to get to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and to Epcot! I encourage you to try it out, because it’s such a fun way to get around. You get a bird’s eye view of lots of the resort hotels while you’re getting to the theme parks!

You can use it just as you would use the monorail to get from the Magic Kingdom Park to Epcot, or even a Friendship Boat to get from Epcot to Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Melanie, make sure to take a look at all the promotions available to Florida Residents before you purchase any theme park tickets. Being Mickey’s neighbor definitely has its benefits!

Feel free to come back to see us if you have any more questions. It’s our pleasure to help you with all the details of your next magical vacation!
