Welcome aboard, Boris! A Disney Cruise Line voyage must be in the planning for your family! How exciting! There is so much to offer both onboard and in the beautiful ports of call when you sail with Disney. I'm glad to hear that you're already planning some fun adventures while in port.
Disney has the best
Youth Clubs at sea, and my kids will fully attest to that! They adore the activities, counselors, and meeting new friends in the clubs so much that we find it hard to convince them to leave the clubs sometimes! Your six year-old is going to have the time of his or her life! Guests are welcome to check their little ones into the Oceaneer Club or Lab when the parents are heading off the ship for some exploring or a Port Adventure. Just be sure to let the counselors know that you'll be leaving the ship, and which of
Disney's Port Adventures you'll be on, if you're taking one. You'll also leave a cell phone number just in case. Your little prince or princess won't even know you're gone, since he or she will be so engaged in games, experiments, activities, and fun in the clubs. I'm sure you'll both have a lot to catch up on when you meet again for dinner that night. Lunch and dinner are both available for kiddos in the clubs too, should you be gone over a meal time. Just let the counselors know that you'd like your child to join new friends in the club for lunch or dinner too, and they'll be all set! My kids think it's pretty special to eat in the clubs without Mom and Dad, just them and their new buddies!
Have so much fun on your cruise, and please feel free to stop back again with any other questions you might have before you set sail. We're happy to help!
