    Hi there! I'm wondering which Disney World hotel is closest and most convenient for arriving at the Disney Princess Half Marathon starting line? I'm hoping to do the Glass Slipper Challenge in 2018. Thanks!!

    Hi Kristen!

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. The Disney Princess Half Marathon was my first ever runDisney event, so it holds a special place in my heart!

    I'm glad to let you know that any of the on property Walt Disney World Resort hotels are very convenient for any of the runDisney events. With that being said, runners have been dropped off in the Epcot parking lot in the past for the Disney Princess Enchanted 10K and the Disney Princess Half Marathon. If you are looking for proximity to Epcot, the resorts you would be interested are:
    These resorts are incredibly convenient after the race because with a ticket you can walk through Epcot straight to your room! The International Gateway into Epcot is not available in the morning, so you will still take a bus to the start line. Another convenient place to stay is at any of the Resort hotels on the monorail line. The monorail is open the morning of the race so you don't have to take any buses, but I truly don't think you can make a wrong decision because the runDisney transportation is so well organized.
