Hi! I'm wondering if Disney provided a child's bracelet identification in case my child is lost?

    Hi Ann,

Disney does not provide ID bracelets for child. However, there are a number of methods that parents can use on their own to help with child identification. Some popular choices include:

    - Temporary ID tatoos. See the website safetytat.com for information and examples.

    - ID bracelets. See the websites roadid.com, kidsvitalids.com, or child-identification-bracelets.com for information and examples.

    - Clothing ID tags. Sew these into the back of your son's shirt. See the websites easy2name.com, stuckonyou.biz, or medids.com for information and examples.

    - Shoe ID tags. See the website mypreciouskid.com for information and examples.

    - Sharpie on skin. Some parents simple write their cell phone number on the child's back or arm. Easy and cheap.

In the unlikely event that you are separated from your child, immediately speak to the nearest cast member. They have a walkie-talkie system that alerts cast all over the park to be on the lookout for the missing child. Lost children are brought to the baby care center at each park while their parents are located. I've been in the baby care center while a missing child's was reunited with his family. The care that child received was incredible and the frantic parents were very relieved.

While I can't tell you not to worry (you're a mom after all), I can tell you that Disney is  well-versed in handling this situation.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know if you have addition questions.
