    I’m just wondering if there is anything on the app or the website that can update me about ride closures due to rain with lightning. Thank you!

    Thank you so much for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question about planning ahead for ride closures while at the Walt Disney World Resort!

    If you look on the map section of My Disney Experience, which loads at the top when you open the app, you should be able to see wait times. If there is a little dash instead of a wait time, that means that the ride is closed for some reason. It won't say the exact reason on there, but if there is lightning in the area that can sometimes close some outdoor attractions for safety!
