Ahoy there, Kiera!
I'm so glad you sailed by planDisney with your important question. I know you are looking forward to your Disney Cruise Line vacation and information about how to maneuver around the ship will be an important part of your experience.
I confirmed with Disney Cruise Line shoreside services that the
AquaDuck is not wheelchair accessible, unfortunately. There are approximately 70 stairs leading up to the slide entry and the exit requires about 10 steps. There are handrails on both sets of stairs.
Mickey's Slide has quite a few stairs to the entrance, but the exit is on deck level. Mickey's Slide is
reserved for Guests ages 4 to 14; height at least 38 and no more than 64 inches tall. I know this isn't the news you were hoping for, Kiera.
Cooling off in a pool or relaxing in a jacuzzi will be easier. If you require a
pool lift to access the Quiet Cove pool (ages 18 and older), Donald's Pool Jacuzzi (Family Pool) or the
Vibe Splash Pool (reserved for teens), you can request assistance as Guest Services.
As you are planning your cruise, be sure to check out this list of amazing
accessible Port Adventures. There are many ways to spend your days in port exploring beautiful destinations!
Kiera, I recommend completing a
Special Services form at least 60 days before your sailing to notify Disney Cruise Line of any mobility requests that you may have. You may also call Disney Cruise Line Special Services with any questions related to your needs. They can be reached by phone at (407) 566-3602 or via email at
SpecialServices@disneycruise.com. For more information about Guests using wheelchairs,
this information is helpful.
I hope you have a fantastic adventure aboard Disney Fantasy, Kiera. Please let us know if you have other questions; we are happy to help.
Wishing you many magical memories,
Shannon
