Hi! I'm going to WDW with my 3 kids (5 yo twins and a 3 yo) and have a question about Lego Store in Disney Downtown. Can you play with lego blocks there or you have to buy them? I'm on a budget though i understand it's Disney. Thank you!

    Hi Valentina,

There are two Lego play areas at the Downtown Disney Lego store: a large one outside and a smaller one inside. You're welcome to stay there and play for as long as you like, with no obligation to purchase. My kids and I have done it ourselves several times. You should be aware that the play areas can get somewhat crowded with kids slightly older than yours. If you want some fairly calm playtime, then plan to arrive early.

Of course the Lego Store is a store, so there are many Legos and Lego set available for purchase. Some of the items sold are large, complicated, and expensive. But there are also small sets and little items. You can buy just a minifig or two for a few dollars. There are also small containers you can fill for less than $10 with any Lego pieces of your choice. Some are unique shapes or colors that are not readily available elsewhere. If you're looking to splurge, that's a fun way to do so.

Please let us know if you have additional questions. We're happy to help.
