Im going to be at WDW from Dec24- Jan2 with my family. I have read that MVMCP ends on the 20th, so is there going to be anything special in Christmas Eve and Christmas Day in any of the parks? Specially Magic Kingdom on the 24? THANKS!

    Hi, Stephannie!

I've got great news for you because you'll definitely get to enjoy all the special holiday entertainment offered at Walt Disney World Resort during your visit! While it's true that Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (MVMCP) ends on 12/20, all the live holiday entertainment, shows and fireworks that are featured as part of MVMCP begin running during regular park hours starting the following day (12/21). This includes Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, the Holiday Wishes fireworks spectacular, and the Celebrate the Season and Totally Tomorrowland Christmas shows. So great ready to be wowed by magical visions of life-sized gingerbread men, dancing reindeer and marching toy soldiers!

In addition to the holiday parade, fireworks and shows, you will also be able to experience the special Holiday Edition of the Celebrate the Magic castle projection show as well as Cinderella's Holiday Wish when the castle transforms into a shimmering, sparkling vision right before your very eyes each evening around 6:15 PM. (through 12/31). And, as an added bonus, Santa Claus will be visiting and greeting guests through 12/24! (By the way, all of the entertainment I've mentioned here is included in your regular valid park admission.)

Disney's Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, Epcot and Downtown Disney also host exclusive live entertainment and shows during the holiday season. If you'd like more information about the holiday happenings at the other three Disney parks, just send me a question directly and I'd be happy to share my recommendations with you for an extra magical holiday visit!

    Happy planning!
