Im wanting to book our youngest daughter in for mermaid swim lessons at AOA how can I book? Our eldest would also like to tie in with a drawing lesson whilst bee visit AOA. Is this even possible tho coordinate? Many thanks

    Hi Natalie!

Thanks for floating by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Who doesn’t want to be Ariel and swim under the sea? I know I do, and I love that your youngest has similar aspirations! I also think it’s great that you have a budding Picasso, so let’s sketch out your options.

Disney’s Art of Animation Resort offers so many fun recreational activities. One of the most popular is Teach to Draw, a half-hour class that focuses on the art of animation and is taught by a Disney Imagineer. The best thing about the course is your daughter will leave with her masterpiece! Depending on the time of year, classes start mid to late morning and are offered several times a day.

Mermaid School at the Resort starts at 8:00 am on Sundays and Thursdays (Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, and Disney's Beach Club Resort also have Mermaid School on different days of the week). It lasts an hour, and your baby girl will learn to swim just like a mermaid. Instead of a sketch, she can take home a swimmable tail!

So for planning, it looks like your youngest will go under the sea and then your eldest will follow with her Imagineer session. To book, please call (407) WDW-PLAY.

Natalie, I hope you and your girls have a splashing good time!
