Disney's Keys to the Kingdom Tour is one of my favorite Disney experiences to date. Our tour guide was absolutely fantastic and so knowledgeable, and as a Walt Disney and Disney history fanatic, taking a peek behind the magic was thrilling. I'm so excited for you to experience this informative and oh-so-fun tour, so let's chat about booking it, shall we?
A Cast Member informed me that sometimes, the Keys to the Kingdom Tour is not offered during busy times of year, such as spring break, and it does look like there may be a pause on tours from April 12 through April 27, 2025. But I have magical news! It looks like the Keys to the Kingdom Tours will resume on April 28th! Woohoo!
After running a quick search, I do see that there is currently no availability for your preferred dates of April 28th or 29th, and that can mean that either the tours for those dates have been booked by other Guests or the reservations have not been released for booking yet. Sometimes, the
Enchanting Extras reservations are not released at exactly 60 days out, and the Cast Member and I suspect this is the case here. So, I suggest you check back with the
Keys to the Kingdom page on the Walt Disney World website daily. Then, once the reservations are released, you can be one of the first to book this incredible tour. The five-hour tour is offered at 8:00, 8:30, 9:00 and 9:30 a.m., so have your preferred time in mind.
If the reservations have already been booked, my advice to keep checking back is the same. Guests' plans change all the time, so you never know what magic you will find if you just keep swimming ... and searching!
Once you arrive at Magic Kingdom on the day of your tour, I recommend checking in at Town Square Theater a little early and snapping a few photos and selfies. Once the tour begins, photography and videography are prohibited, so you'll want to commemorate the experience with some before and after photos. The no-photography rule is likely in place to keep the tour's super-cool secrets quiet and keep the magic alive for all the Guests, but I love that it forced me to put my phone away and just soak up all the information and pixie dust.
