I'm visiting WDW in two weeks with my three sons 6yrs, 3yrs, and 5mo, along with husband and both sets of grandparents. We've been to AK before, but not the other 3 parks. Should we do MK, HS, and Epcot--one on each day? Is Epcot good for little kids?

    Hi Danielle,

We have taken our daughter along with her grandparents to Walt Disney World many times, and it is always such fun. I do believe that each park has something to offer for small children. Since you already have been to Disney's Animal Kingdom, I'll cover each of the other parks along with recommendations for very young children.

Magic Kingdom Park is truly where fantasy comes to life. There is so much to do here for little children. Fantasyland has many attractions which would be appropriate for all of your boys - from the gentle boat ride it's a small world to a ride up in the air on Dumbo the Flying Elephant. There are certainly attractions in all of the other lands as well for young children. I would recommend at least a day at the Magic Kingdom Park, if not more!

At Disney's Hollywood Studios, there are many options for young children. If your boys watch Disney Junior, they may enjoy seeing characters they know at Disney Junior - Live on Stage!, an upbeat puppet show. You can also ride Toy Story Midway Mania, where you and your kids will travel through and play midway rides brought to life. I think that you could definitely do one day here.

Finally, I do believe that Epcot is good for little kids. It was the first Disney park that my daughter, then a baby, ever visited. At Epcot, your boys may enjoy The Seas with Nemo and Friends, a ride through the story of Nemo which ends in a real aquarium. We also enjoy the slow-paced Living with the Land boat ride. Finally, if you want to explore the World Showcase and your boys like to color, be sure to visit the Kidcot Fun Stops in each country, where they can color a Perry the Platypus or Duffy Bear and collect stamps from each country. I do find a day at Epcot with young children quite enjoyable.

I hope this helps with your planning, Danielle. Have a wonderful trip and please do visit us again with any further questions!
