I'm visiting WDW in the summer from UK and staying at Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista. Does anyone know if this hotel lets guests use the extra hours in the park, if not is it best to avoid the parks on those days?

    Dear Jay.

Thanks for taking the time to reach out to us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question about off-site hotels.

At this time, the only guests who are able to take advantage of Extra Magic Hours are those guests who are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, so your current hotel reservation would not work for that.

I have heard a lot of people suggest that guests should avoid a given park on a day where there are Extra Magic Hours, but honestly I would make your schedule the way that you want it and enjoy your vacation. There will be additional people for sure, but I have never noticed SUCH a significant difference that it made me unhappy.

Moms Panel tip - Arrive early at the parks in the morning. You might find that you will be able to accomplish a few attractions before the crowds start to build!

Hope that helps with your magical planning!
