Hi. I’m visiting the parks on January 25 & 26 in 2024. Since I will be on a scooter, I’m trying to avoid crowds that would be near any marathons. Where should I steer clear of?

    Jennifer,

Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!

I have traveled to Walt Disney World during a marathon week in the past, and while Disney does a great job of helping people navigate around the rush of events, it can help a lot to plan in advance of your travels, like you are doing!

The great news I have for you is that at the time of your visit, in late January, there are no runDisney events scheduled. For 2024, there are a few announced events, and they include.

None of these events seem to coincide with your late January travels, so I think you will be OK.

    BONUS TIP
Should there ever be a runDisney event scheduled when you are going to be there, it can be fun to be a spectator too. Disney shares great locations for watching your friends participating in the myriad of events, and the post-run parties can be a truly memorable time, even for people like myself who choose not to run.

Please keep writing us at the planDisney panel if you have any follow-up questions.

    Have a Magical Vacation!
