Hello! I’m visiting HS in Orlando next week and my 3yo son is a huge Star Wars fan and he wants to take his lightsaber toy with him to the park, can we get it inside the park or is it possible that security don’t let us in if we have it with us?

    Bright suns, Nancy!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Can you believe your vacation is just days away? I'm sure your young padawan can't wait to experience Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge when you visit Disney's Hollywood Studios. I'd love to see the expression on his face when he enters the planet of Batuu for the first time! I know it will be priceless.

Nancy, lightsabers are not included on the Walt Disney World prohibited items list, so your youngling will be able to keep it with him while he experiences the planet of Batuu! It will also be the perfect prop for all the photo opportunities available. I visited for the first time in September, and I could have spent all day exploring this galaxy, sampling the snacks and beverages (blue and green milk!) available, and checking out all the merchandise offered at the Black Spire Outpost Shops. And I'm sure a highlight of your visit will be experiencing the Millennium Falcom: Smugglers Run with your Stars Wars fan! I know it will be an epic day for the two of you in this immersive land.

Thank you for stopping by to see us, Nancy. Have a galactic time on your vacation next week!

    Til the Spires,

    Nancy
