I'm visiting Hollywood with my kids (5&3) and my grandparents (70+). I thought Rain Forest Cafe would be a fun dining spot for everyone. Which location (downtown/AK) would be easier to travel to from the park? I'd like to use Disney trans. if possible.

    Kim,

It will be much easier and faster to get to the Rain Forest Cafe at the Animal Kingdom, than the one in Downtown Disney.  From the Hollywood Studios to the Animal Kingdom, it should take you about 35-40 minutes (on average) by bus.  It could easily take over an hour to get to Downtown Disney.

I also can't help but ask if you have considered 50's Prime Time Cafe in Hollywood Studios? I think it would be at least as good of an option for a multi-generational group (OK, I personally think it would be MUCH better, but I'm trying to be polite!), and it would avoid your need to travel to another park.  Just something to consider.

Either way - have a great time!
