I’m visiting in Feb. 2024 on some of the newly announced sweetheart nights. I don’t plan to buy a ticket to the special event, just general admission for the day. What time will regular guests be kicked out? Will DCA remain open after Disneyland closes?

Welcome to planDisney, Julie, where love is always in the air...love for Disney, that is! Your Disneyland Resort visit in February is sure to be full of hearts and flowers, so let's look at how you can enjoy the magic and romance to the fullest.

You can check park hours on the Hours & Events Calendar on the Disneyland Resort website. I like to choose the Five-Day View so I can see the hours for my trip at a glance, and you can also sort to see hours for one park or both.

I chose a couple of dates when the Disneyland After Dark: Sweethearts' Nite is being held, and it looks like the party typically begins at 9:00 PM. The hours for regular Disneyland Park guests end around an hour before, so you can expect to be directed to exit the park around 8:00 PM. Please but be sure to double-check the calendar for your specific dates.

For the dates I chose, Disney California Adventure Park is open until 9:00 PM, so you could head over for some last-minute fun or snacks if you can park hop. Or swing by the Downtown Disney District to pick up some souvenirs or a sweet treat at my favorite spot, Salt & Straw. The hours for Downtown Disney are also on the calendar, and that area will be open until 10:00 PM many nights in February.

Julie, I'm sprinkling pixie dust and rose petals so your visit will be full of fun. Please stop by planDisney anytime!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
