    I’m visiting Disney, my 5 year old goddaughter is a Florida resident and is a annual pass member, I will be taking her to Disney as a bday present does her parents have to come too

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Maegan! Your Goddaughter must be so excited to visit the Walt Disney World Resort with you this Autumn! 

    Since she is an Annual Passholder and as long as her account has been activated, I don’t see any reason why you couldn’t have her all to yourself for a visit to any of the theme parks. She will be able to tap her band to the Mickey sensor to enter any of the four theme parks, and you will be able to purchase regular theme park tickets to be able to accompany her. There’s no need for her parents to tag along. 

    Maegan, there are a few things that you can plan for her to make the visit extra special! An appointment at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, either at the Magic Kingdom Park or Disney Springs would be an amazing birthday gift! There she can visit with another Godmother, this one would be a fairy though! 

    She might also want to share a meal with Disney Royalty at Cinderella’s Royal Table at the Magic Kingdom Park or at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall at Epcot’s World Showcase. If you do decide to make a dining reservation, you can leave a note on your account to alert Cast Members that your Goddaughter will be celebrating her birthday! A Dream Maker can also help you pick out a special cake or gift for her to receive during that meal.
