Welcome to planDisney, Micaela.
I’m so glad that you stopped by with your captivating question! There’s nothing quite like a
Walt Disney World Resort vacation and it looks like you are getting a great head start on planning yours, and I'm happy to help you create all sorts of memories!
You are exactly right; you can purchase your
Capture Your Moment experience online. However,
reservations can only be made up to 60 days before your visit. If you are a Guest of a
Disney Resort Hotel, you can make reservations for dining and other special experiences for your entire stay (up to 10 days) beginning 60 days before your check-in date. So, just check back 60 days prior to your arrival and you should be able to book this special experience.
You are going to love Capture Your Moment at Magic Kingdom Park! Micaela, did you know that you can book two continuous sessions? This means that you will have 40 minutes with the photographer and the opportunity to visit at least two different locations in
Magic Kingdom. Make sure to arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your session time so that you can discuss the location options and ideas with your photographer.
If you’ve worked up an appetite after your big photo session, how about enjoying a meal at
Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen just over in Adventureland? Many of my planDisney pals and I are big fans of the Kungaloosh! dessert item. And here’s an insider tip, it’s not on the menu but be sure to ask for Pao de Queijo as soon as you are seated. You can thank me later!
While it seems far away, your vacation will be here before you know it, so keep up the planning! If you have any other questions or would like more tips for your upcoming trip, Micaela,
please stop back by and see me. Wishing you many magical memories,
Shannon
