Im going to be visiting 11/09 for my ds 6th bday, traveling w/ me is my b/f ds (who is 13). This will be the 1st time our 2 ds will meet. We want to make it xtra special vacation for them. Any ideas w/ the big age difference of ds of fun things to do?

Hi, Jessica!  I had the opportunity just this weekend to do the Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage at the Contemporary Resort, and I have to tell you, the group of us ranged in age from four to 29 (with 16 years of experience!!), and we all had a blast!  This is an awesome way to celebrate a first visit or a birthday, or any occasion.

You are welcomed at your meeting spot at the Contemporary Resort by a band of rowdy pirates and a feast of snacks fit for a Pirate king!  You'll find everything from fresh fruit and trail mix to cotton candy and pirate gold (chocolate coins).  Grab something to drink from the beverage station, and enjoy a meet and greet with Captain Hook and Mr. Smee.

After all the wonderful snacks and drinks, you head out to the Seven Seas Lagoon for a boat ride that is so much fun!  Your Pirate master of ceremonies makes sure everyone has a few laughs, sings a few songs, and enjoys the voyage as you head out to enjoy the Wishes Fireworks from the Magic Kingdom.  On the way, you might be lucky enough to see the Electric Water Pageant up close and personal as well.

When you return from your voyage, you'll find a special guest waiting for you on the dock.  Currently, it's Peter Pan, a big hit with all of the ladies in our group, from the smallest to the tallest.

While your older son may not be as much into the characters as the younger one, the voyage itself is great fun for all ages.  You can book this special event by calling 407-WDW-PLAY.
