Hi there, Nichole!
What a special vacation you have planned for your little Mouseketeer's first visit and birthday! I can only imagine it's going to be a pixie-dusted vacation for the three of you. I strongly recommend investing in
Memory Maker, so the PhotoPass Photographers can capture all the magical moments to share with your friends and family. These will definitely be photos that you'll cherish for yEARs to come, and your son will enjoy looking at them and hEARing all about this wonderful vacation when he's a little older.
All the parks and resort hotels will have the complimentary celebration buttons. There is not a limit on buttons so feel free to ask for a "Happy Birthday" button and "A First Visit" button. These will make great keepsakes from this trip! Another fun keepsake to think about for your little prince is a set of Mickey Ears embroidered with his name and date of his first birthday or the words "First Visit." You can get some great pictures with his ears on Main Street U.S.A. in front of Cinderella Castle. Be sure to stop by The Chapeau in Magic Kingdom to check out the options for infants.
Nichole, have you thought about a birthday cake to enjoy at one of your meals? A
Mickey Mouse Celebration Cake that is Mickey-shaped can be ordered for any Walt Disney World owned-and operated table-service restaurant. You can call 407-939-3463 to add a cake to a dining reservation. They look absolutely delicious, and I'm looking forward to ordering one for my daughter's upcoming birthday celebration at the Walt Disney World Resort!
Have fun planning this special visit for your baby boy!
Nancy
