Hi there! I'm used to MDX where I can plan the itinerary for our whole group -- in the Disneyland app without Friends and Family how do I link in our entire party so everyone can see dining reservations, I can buy Lightning Lane MP for everyone, etc.?

Welcome back to planDisney, Jason! We're so happy to have you again, and thank you for trusting us to answer your vacation planning questions! It looks like you'll be enjoying all the magic of a Disneyland Resort visit in the next couple of months. The countdown is on - especially since this year is the 70th anniversary of 'The Happiest Place on Earth!'

I completely understand your question about being accustomed to the Family & Friends list in My Disney Experience at Walt Disney World Resort. It is a wonderful feature to be able to share information about your dining and hotel reservations with your entire travel party. At Disneyland Resort, however, the official Disneyland mobile app works a bit differently. Unfortunately, there is no comparable feature to share these plans within the app, but I still have a few recommendations for you.

First, you can link all your tickets together online or follow these steps to link your tickets in the mobile app. Once these tickets are successfully linked and you have scanned them for entry to a theme park on the day of your visit, you'll be able to make your Lightning Lane selections (or Virtual Queues) on behalf of every eligible Guest in your party! Lightning Lane Multi Pass also works a little differently at Disneyland Resort than it does at Walt Disney World Resort, so I'll share a few more details about making these attraction selections in case it's helpful to you.

If you'd also like to link your hotel reservations, you can do so using the Hotel Reservation page and enter the reservation number, check-in date, and primary Guest's name. You should also be able to do this within the mobile app using the "Hotel Reservations" section. One thing to note is that the mobile app is designed to function best in the United States, so you may need to wait until you arrive on-site to fully enjoy all the features.

Finally, I often use a simple, but effective, strategy when it comes to sharing my dining reservations with my extended family when we visit Disneyland Resort. I simply screenshot the information (or write it in a shared note) and send it to our family text thread. I know it isn't particularly sophisticated, but it works and everyone can reference it during our trip. I hope this is a helpful start for now, Jason. If you think of anything else we can help with along the way, please come on back and share another question with us here at planDisney. We're always happy to hear from our fellow Guests!

    Wishing you magic, always!
