Ahoy, Lisa! Thanks for cruising by planDisney with another great question! I’m so excited to hear you’ll be sailing on the brand-new
Disney Treasure in September...what a magical adventure you have ahead!
Palo Steakhouse is such a special spot onboard, and I completely understand wanting to experience it. While the restaurant itself does require a reservation for dining, there is a gorgeous bar and lounge area nearby called
The Rose. This elegant space is located right at the entrance of Palo Steakhouse and Enchanté, and it’s the perfect place to enjoy a pre-dinner cocktail or a glass of wine with a stunning view. That said, The Rose is a bar-only location, so food from Palo is not served there, but it’s still a beautiful place to relax and soak in the atmosphere.
If you haven’t been able to secure a Palo reservation just yet, don’t give up hope! A limited number of reservations are often held back for embarkation day, and you’ll see a “Dining Session” listed in the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once you’re onboard. This session gives Guests the chance to meet with someone from the Palo team and check for any available spots. It’s definitely worth stopping by early!
Another option you might want to consider is Prima Notte at Palo Steakhouse, which is a lovely tasting experience offered only on embarkation night. It features fine Italian wines paired with perfectly curated small bites. I recently did this experience with a friend on the Disney Magic, and we loved it! One great perk is that it doesn’t conflict with your scheduled dinner in the main dining room. We were able to enjoy Prima Notte and still join our families for the second dinner seating. It's the best of both worlds!
I hope this helps as you plan for your Treasure voyage. Wishing you smooth seas, stunning sunsets, and maybe a sparkling glass of wine at The Rose!
Cheers!
