    I'm 'tweeking' my plans! We have 8:30AM ADR @ Tusker House, AK opens @ 8 AM that day. Would you go to the 'Early Res Line' if you arrive before 8AM to beat the rush or just wait in the reg. line to enter? Would this be an acceptable plan? Thanks, again!!!

    In your situation, I would try to arrive at the Animal Kingdom well before 8:00. If the park opens at 8:00, you may experience a bit of a backlog at the security line, which you want to avoid. Assuming you are able to get to the park before 8:00, I definitely would go over to the "Early Character Breakfast" entrance turnstile and ask if you could walk over to Tusker House. The answer will depend a bit on the cast member who happens to be manning the line that day. You could get a stickler who will tell you to wait until the park opens. But my guess is that the cast member will check your name on the clipboard and let you walk down to Tusker House for your meal before the park is open to the general public. This is great, because once you're at the restaurant, if they can seat you early, they will. This will allow you more touring time in the park.
