chEARs Austin,
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It sounds like you are about to be the superstar BFF amongst your friends when you purchase Walt Disney World tickets for them!
One of the best advantages of
living close to The Mouse is the fantastic discounts to be had on Disney Theme Park tickets, and I love that you want to take advantage of that. Tickets can be purchased in person at any of the four theme park ticket windows or online, and then picked up at will call. But while we can share our love of all things Mickey with our friends, unless they are
Florida residents, we can’t share
the discount!
If your friends are
Florida residents, and they are just super lucky to have you as a friend, all of you need to be present and show
proof of Florida Residency when you activate your tickets. Only adults over the age of 18 need proof of residency. That proof can come in a variety of forms, including:
-State or military-issued ID card with Florida address.
-Bills, Policies or Registration in their name (i.e., automobile registration, insurance policy or statement from utilities, insurance, etc. note though that the bills can be no more than two months old).
-Mail from a certified institution such as a bank, federal, or state agency with their name.
Current statements and bills that are printed from an electronic version or via smartphones are acceptable.
Austin, now more than ever is a
magical time to visit Walt Disney World. Here’s to a great, big, beautiful tomorrow with The Mouse!
